Floors

There are many floors seen in Dandy's World. Each floor layout is randomly selected when the floor starts, with the elevator starting area, Item/Twisted spawns, and Machine locations being semi-randomized.

There will be 2 elevators in the map, with one being selected as the main elevator, while the other one remains covered in yellow tape and a sign that says "BROKEN" on it and "DO NOT ENTER".

You will earn 5 Ichor for every floor you survive.

👫 Types 👫

There are several different floor layouts, most with their own individual variants. There are a total of 18 maps (including variants of maps) in the game.
There are 7 maps (not including variants) in the game.

Rainbow Room

The Rainbow Room is a map that usually appears at the start of a game along with the Library and the Projector Room.
All variants contain a blue wall with rainbow stripes going horizontally across the map with a brown wooden floor.

  • 7 variants.
  • Has the most variants out of all the floors.
  • These floors are generally the smallest, however, there are some occurrences of them being bigger than other maps.

The Diner

The Diner is a restaurant map which has green walls and a brown wooden floor that is the same as the floor in the Rainbow Room.

This floor also has a kitchen with grey tiles instead of the wooden floor with some food lying around, spilt drinks on the floor, and spilt flour. On many tables or on the floor, drinks can be seen spilling out Ichor.

  • 3 variants.
  • Only seen on floor 6 or higher.
  • A medium-sized floor for both instances, being around the same size as the Projector Room or Gift Shop
  • The "kitchen" and the "dining" sides are on separated, opposite sides of the map for each of the instances.

The Warehouse

The Warehouse is a warehouse/parking garage map that has grey concrete walls and floors with little-to-no variation, as well as many metal fences gating off sections of the map.

This floor has smaller rooms scattered around the map with desks and computers, along with lone boxes, wire fencing, various furniture, and soda dispensers. In one corner of the map, cars and vans can be seen with Ichor puddles underneath.

  • 3 variants.
  • Rare type of floor. Typically, only seen on floors 10 or higher.
  • Both instances are bigger than most maps, being the bigger one of the two is the second biggest floor, just behind Astro's Room.

Astro's Room

The room is painted in shades of blue, with blue lights and some exhibits about space. The walls are patterned with stars and sparkles, and the elevators are decorated. Unique Ichor tubes are seen occasionally.

  • Has 1 variant.
  • Rarest type of room. Seen only past floor 15.
  • Has an increased chance of 25% to spawn Twisted Astro
  • It's a room made specifically for Astro, containing many objects related to space.
  • Astro's Room could be resembled as a museum or planetarium, being that there are displays portraying different things relative to space, some of which even have description cards on or close by the display.
  • Astro's Room is by far the largest room in Gardenview.

Greenhouse

The Greenhouse is a room with nature-inspired decor, green walls, plant pots, bookshelves, and some exhibits about nature, such as trees and cacti.

  • Has 2 variants.
  • Like Astro's room, there are displays, however, instead of portraying space, they portray nature, with displays and plants all around these rooms.
  • Seen only past floor 5.
  • The only room to contain natural music.
  • Both instances have a much more open, but self-contained layout than other floors.

The Gift Shop

The Gift Shop is a room with souvenirs, plushies, merchandise, and cloth racks.

  • Has 1 variant.
  • Typically, seen only past floor 10.
  • SA decently sized map, being bigger than some of the Rainbow Rooms and Projector Room, but smaller then the Warehouse and Diner rooms.
  • Very maze-like in design, and may be confusing to navigate for new players.

Shelly’s Room

Shelly’s floor is a museum-like room with dinosaur fossils, nature exhibits, nature themes, lockers, and Shelly plushies. There are displays portraying different Dinosaurs throughout the floor, alongside this, there are "dig sites" (Sandboxes for toons to play in and "dig" for fossils.)

  • Has 1 variant.
  • Typically, seen only past floor 16.
  • The current newest map, releasing alongside Connie and Looey.
  • Has an increased 25% chance to spawn Twisted Shelly
  • Like Astro’s room, there are displays. Though, these ones display fossils. Unlike Astro’s room, which display space themed items.

🙆 Trivia 🙆

  • Astro's Room is the room with the highest chance of spawning bandages, which makes up for its considerable size.
  • Despite the Diner being possible to see on floor 5, the probability is very low. It usually spawns around floor 7 and above.
  • Just like the diner, Astro's Room can be seen on floor 15 but is usually seen at around 16.
  • When a Blackout occurs inside one of the versions of The Rainbow Room, the projection of the Razzle & Dazzle cartoon will not appear.
  • The gift shop has shelves of plushies of the Main Characters, which are all nearly sold out except for Shelly, which could imply she is the least popular out of them. This also further proves that Shelly is often ignored, which is said in her Twisted Form’s description about the “blatant ignorance of her existence,” along with her dialogue with Looey, where he didn’t notice her and she replies that she “gets that a lot.”
  • While on the Greenhouse floor, you can hear birds chirping, and in some cases, squirrel noises.
  • The Rainbow Rooms are the only floor type to have two maps that have different names being the Projector Room and the Library Room.

🙆 Events 🙆

  • See Blackouts for more information.

An event called a "Blackout" occurs every so often, the chance of it happening increasing the more floors you descend.

The blackout chance starts at 5% on floor 3 (4% if the Electrician card is picked), and increases by 2% (1.5% if the Electrician card is picked) each floor until a maximum of 30% is reached, which can be reduced to 25% with the use of the Electrician card.

Blackouts make the entire floor dark, with only a small bit of light surrounding your Toon. However, the light’s radius during Blackouts increases in size if you are playing Brightney/Vee/Astro/Connie, are using the Spare Bulb Trinket, or pick the Sparkplug Card.

More events are planning on being added.
